Simultaneus Multi-channel Analysis SMCA

Power plant and process industry machines, such as the turbine generators, are often very complex. To enable the diagnostics of such complex machinery, Sensodec has designed 6S from the ground up, starting right from the machinery interface.

The new analysis substation, with its dedicated computing power, simultaneously processes up to 80 inputs of vibration, shaft movement and speed triggering signals.

Sensodec 6S has created a new industry standard for simultaneous multi-channel analysis named SMCA. With SMCA, machinery or process inputs can be analyzed in exactly the same timeframe so that the true causes of vibration, its modes of transmission and its effects can be seen. This is a necessity for the fast rotating turbo machinery typical of power and process industries.
