Research and test centers

Metso's research and development projects focus on crushing, grinding and screening processes, as well as on the improvement and enhancement of the related wear and spare part and service product offering.


Metso conduct tests and simulations on customer plants and materials, thus providing the most efficient and economical method of processing a customer’s materials. The key tool for this is Metso's process simulation program Bruno. Testing allows us to match equipment precisely to the material being processed for new or existing installations. Particularly sophisticated and highly accurate test procedures are conducted on gold ores and other precious metals. Metso has test laboratories for
