Parent roll handling
Transferring the parent reel into an off-line coater, calender or winder performed either with rails, parent reel carts or a crane. The Metso product range includes transfer rails and carts for parent reel and machine roll service.
These carts are typically powered by an AC supply and the transfer is either semi-automatic or fully automatic. Carts can be furnished with automated roll loading/unloading and RF/ID traffic control.
