Tissue makers gathered at Tissue World in Miami, US

Nearly 1.000 tissue makers from 73 countries gathered at the Tissue Word conference and exhibition in Miami, US, March 21-23.
Metso started the event with their own breakfast seminar the first day. About 50 customers participated in the program where Jim Haeffele and Jan L Larsson started the presentations by talking about Metso's extended scope of delivery to SCA Mexico, 2010.

Jan Erikson continued to tell about Metso's work to reduce energy consumption in the tissue making process. Phil Warren described the possibilities to improve efficiency with "Remote monitoring" while Sören Eriksson ended the seminare by sharing experiences from installed Dry End and Safety upgrades.

At the official conference Ingvar Klerelid presented "Development trends in pressing" and what opportunities Advantage ViscoNip and Advantage NTT can offer.

Metso's booth were located at the entrance of the exhibition and and was frequently visited.
